WHY USE HERBS?
Herbs are the oldest and most widely used form of medicine on Earth. In the wild, animals are natural herbalists and will often self-medicate with the plants around them. That’s what’s happening when your dog runs outside and eats the grass.
Wild horses consume up to 30 different types of plants a day. Most domestic horses are lucky if they get three. Herbs may help boost energy, enhance moods, support relaxation and heal physical and emotional injuries.
Herbs often have fewer side effects than pharmaceutical drugs. We always recommend you talk to your veterinarian before switching from a drug to herbs. Herbs are not a replacement for veterinary care.
