Product Details

Laminitis is inflammation of the soft tissue structure that attaches the pedal bone of the foot to the hoof wall. It can become life-threatening if not addressed quickly.

A parked out stance, cresty neck, fat pockets in certain areas of the body and a digital pulse are tell-tale signs of laminitis, but the imbalance starts much earlier at a cellular level. At this point, it’s not even detectable in blood tests. This is why prevention is always key!

LAMINITIS SUPPORT is for:

  • Horses who have a current Veterinary diagnosis of Laminitis
  • Preventative measures against Laminitis
  • Horses diagnosed with Cushing’s Disease (alongside the use of CUSHING'S BLEND)
  • Horses who have suffered previous Laminitic episodes
  • Insulin resistant horses

Laminitis is a terrifying diagnosis for your horse to receive, but there is so much you can do to help your laminitic equine live a happy, healthy life. LAMINITIS SUPPORT may help reduce inflammation and restore metabolic function to lessen your horse’s symptoms. It is designed to pair well with your veterinarian’s traditional treatments.

There are many other ways you can support your horse when it comes to Laminitis. Always seek advice from your vet, trimmer/farrier and equine nutritionist to ensure your horse receives a wholistic approach to their care plan. If you haven’t already, look at changing their immediate environment and if you’re able to do so, introduce a track system or a paddock paradise. Your horse will really thank you.
