This herbal blend was developed to help support the endocrine system and alleviate symptoms associated with Equine Metabolic Syndrome and Pars Pituitary Intermedia Dysfunction (PPID). With a little extra care and love, many horses with EMS and PPID continue to live long healthy lives. PPID is often caused by a hormonal imbalance. This imbalance puts the horse’s pituitary gland into overdrive, causing an increase in drinking and urination, excess weight, fatigue, excessive hair growth, insulin resistance and intense sweating.
CUSHING'S BLEND may support the health of horses affected by PPID and other similar conditions by:
- Balancing hormones
- Supporting the liver, endocrine and pituitary system
- Assisting with shedding the coat

Ingredients:
- Chaste Tree Berry - may help to regulate the pituitary and adrenal glands.
- Sheep Sorrel - traditionally known to help cleanse the blood.
- Kelp - may help maintain normal metabolic activity.
- Spirulina - packed full of nutrients, essential amino acids, vitamins and minerals.
- Rosehips - naturally high in Vitamins A, C, D and E, acting as a blood flow and tissue restorative.
- Milk Thistle - antioxidant, may protect and tone the liver, increase gastric enzyme production and secretion, hinder toxic uptake and block damaging free radicals from attacking cells.
- Licorice Root Powder - anti-inflammatory and may stimulate cortisol production. Traditionally known to support the digestive system.
Dosage
Horses: 1 scoop daily, approx 30g, based on scoop supplied
Ponies: 1/2 a scoop daily, approx. 15g, based on scoop supplied
For best results, double the recommended dose for the first two weeks
This product will last one horse 34 days based on the above dosage rate
